- What documents do I need to bring to hire a car?
Driver’s Licence: A physical driver’s licence or your driver’s licence displayed on an official government digital driver’s licence app. (International drivers should also carry a passport or valid photo ID, and an International Driving Permit if the licence is not in English).
Credit Card: A credit card in the driver’s name is required for the security deposit or bond.
Booking Confirmation: Your booking confirmation email or voucher.
Age Requirement: You must be at least 21 years old (drivers under 25 may incur a young driver fee)
- What payment methods are accepted at arrival ?
You must pay using a physical card. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express (Amex). We also accept debit card. We do not accept cash.
- Do I need to refuel my rental car before returning it to Sydney?
Yes — vehicles should be returned with the same fuel level as when collected in order to avoid refuelling charges.
- What happens if I return late?
By way of explanation, rental days consist of consecutive 24 hour periods starting at the time of commencement of rental indicated on your Rental Agreement. Late fees may apply if you return the vehicle later than the agreed time.
- How do toll payments work with my rental car?
Charges are billed automatically to your credit card.
- Can I modify, extend, or cancel my reservation?
You can include additional drivers at the rental desk if they have a full, valid licence and meet the driver eligibility rules. A surcharge may apply. Only registered drivers are permitted to operate the vehicle under the rental agreement.
